Event Details for TeXchange Speakers

TeXchange is honored to have you be a part of our program. You have been carefully selected for based on your knowledge, experience, wisdom, success and stature concerning the subject matter area to be covered at the event. Our dinner guests are looking particularly forward to hearing what you will have to say. Most of them have signed up to attend the event because you are the speaker or a panelist!

Preparing for your TeXchange event:

Event Details:

  • Each event starts with open networking.  Once everyone is seated, you’re on!
  • Microphones—Test the microphone before you get started.  We want to hear what you have to say!
  • If you are speaking alone, please prepare a 20-25 minute presentation.  This will give us time to discuss the evening’s topic over dinner.
  • If you will be a member of a panel, we ask that the panel limit its remarks to a total of 30 minutes.
  • After your presentation,  a seat will be reserved for you to join in on a table discussion.
  • We'll wrap up the event with dessert and Q&A.

Presentation preparation:

  • Be provocative--- Provocative thoughts and remarks by our well-respected speakers and panelists make for very lively and enlightening table discussions.
  • “Key take-aways” – What do you want our attendees to take away with them regarding the evening’s topic?  If you are part of a panel, please be sure to get together with the other panelists before the event starts---to agree about what the “key takeaways” are.
  • Remember your manners - If you wouldn’t say it in front of your mother, please don’t say it in front of us. Thank you.

Most of all---enjoy yourself.  We are excited to have you join us and share your experiences and thoughts.  Thank you for your time and commitment to the TeXchange entrepreneurial spirit.
