As a Partner with Park Cities Financial Group, Ms. McGowan is the Director of Target Markets for the firm.� She provides portfolio management strategies that preserve corporate and individual assets.� A proven fiscal leader with almost 15 years experience in business management, financial services, consulting, business development, planning and operations, Wendi has created distinctive solutions for clients and motivated teams to deliver results centered on enterprise profitability and return-on-investment.�

Ms. McGowan began her career before graduating from The University of Texas at Austin with a BA in Economics in 1991.� First, she held an internship at UBS Wealth Management, and then founded an independent business development and media management consulting company called MWI, Inc. in 1990.� Wendi led this company for 10 years, first as CFO and then as CEO, subsequently converted it to a website design and e-marketing company, and finally, sold it to a local ISP.�

In 2000, Ms. McGowan took a senior corporate management position as the National Director of Consulting Markets for the North Americas at PSINet, Inc., an international telecom company.� She managed a budget of $5.2 million and integrated over 60 company acquisitions into the consolidated Consulting Solutions division of PSINet.� Prior to joining Park Cities Financial, Wendi returned to UBS and was a Financial Advisor focused on corporate cash management services.�

Currently working towards both Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) and Certified Divorce Financial Analyst (CDFA) certifications, Ms. McGowan has multi-faceted experience as an entrepreneur and in senior management at both a multi-national corporations and with young, growth companies, and she is a published writer in technology periodicals and public speaker.� Soon to be a co-host on a television show, "The Tech Show" with Peabody Award winning journalist, Robert Riggs, Wendi will feature coverage on technology companies from across the state and include experts who underscore the importance of high technology in Texas to the rest of the world.�

Ms. McGowan holds several professional honors including the �Financial Advisor of the Year� Award for her hire-dated class at UBS and a member of the International Who�s Who of Professional and Business Women.� Professional leadership positions include the National Board of Directors for the Alliance of Technology & Women, Board of Directors for Texchange's Dallas Chapter, Board of Advisors for the Dallas Woman's Forum, and Advisory Board for the Texas Business Network for UT Alumni.� Professional memberships include the Dallas Federal Reserve�s World Affairs Council, Association for Corporate Growth, The Innovators of the Dallas Symphony Orchestra, and Dallas Women's Coalition Finance Committee.
