Ellen Wood, CEO, co-founded vcfo in 1996. Prior to forming vcfo she was the Executive Vice President and CFO of Capital Network System, Inc. and served as the senior finance officer for Block Watne Texas. She also co-founded a privately held telecommunications company. 

She served as Board Member and Treasurer for the Capital Area Council of Boy Scouts of America, State President and Board Member for Texchange, Board Member and Treasurer for The Entrepreneur’s Foundation, and as a member of the Audit Committee for the Austin Chamber of Commerce. She has also served as a board member for the Greater Austin Chamber of Commerce and as their Vice Chair for Finance. 

Ellen is a graduate of the University of Texas and a Texas CPA.
