Mr. Shapiro is a twenty-year veteran of the communications industry. Before founding Alliance Systems, Ltd., Mr. Shapiro served in management positions at International Business Machines Corporation, Rolm, Brite Voice Systems, Inc. and VMX. He was also the Co-founder of Open+Voice, a maker of voicemail development tool kits. Mr. Shapiro is a graduate of Hofstra University in Hempstead, New York.
Alliance Systems (based in Plano, Texas) designs, develops, manufactures, and supports communications and embedded computing solutions. The company serves the communication market by providing key components, system integration expertise, and a full range of professional services. Alliance Systems' solutions range from carrier-class communication servers and Internet Protocol (IP) infrastructure to interactive call center design and enterprise-wide system implementation.
