Description:
This month's event will feature two speakers who have each built and implemented a business model around channel sales. Bill Arend manages an extensive sales channel for a large software and technology company; BJ Farmer is an entrepreneur whose company serves as a channel partner for a major technology provider. Through presentations by each speaker and a moderated panel discussion, the audience will hear about some of the key pains and gains of channel sales strategies, from each side of the channel.
Texchange Event Format:
Meetings start with refreshments and informal conversation followed by a sit-down dinner where attendees can become acquainted with others at their table. After the speaker's presentation, each table discusses a pre-set technology or entrepreneurial topic among themselves. Everyone is encouraged to share their viewpoints and, especially, share knowledge gained through their own unique experiences. Afterwards, there is a moderated "open table" discussion.
