During 2007, Alastair Westgarth joined Tango Networks, a young company with exciting technology that conveys the benefits of office telephone systems to mobile devices. Westgarth brings over 16 years in the wireless and data communications industry to his new role as Chief Operating Officer at Tango Networks. Previously, he was Senior Vice President and CTO at Airspan, Senior VP at Inner Wireless, EVP Engineering at First Broadcasting, CEO and President of Navini Networks, and VP of Product Line Management for Nortel. Mr. Westgarth also held leadership positions at Bell Mobility early in his career. He has been on the advisory boards of Spatial Wireless (acquired by Alcatel) and Genesis Campus, was on the board of directors for Valere Power, and was on the board of directors and advisors for Tango Networks before joining the company.
