Mr. Napert currently is the president of Futura
Enterprises, Inc., which is focused primarily on consulting
to the real estate and telecommunication industries. Mr. Napert
also served as a founder and principal of CoServ Telecom. He initiated
and directed the efforts for CoServ Utilities to sell bundled packages
(electric, telephone, internet, natural gas, cable TV, and security
services) with CoServ Telecom during this time as well. In this
role, Mr. Napert was personally responsible for arranging for contracts
with developers for CoServ to service over 10,000 building lots
and more than 20 million square feet of office space.
Irving formed his first residential construction company in 1978.
By 1990, the company had expanded into commercial and hotel work
as well and was producing $60 million a year in revenue. Mr. Napert
also had formed Napert Realty Management Company (NMRC) to manage
not only the shopping centers, office buildings, and hotels that
the Napert Companies built, but also to contract with other owners
to manage their properties as well. By 1990, NRMC managed over $270
million in assets. Mr. Napert has deep and broad experience in the
industries of real estate, power, and telecom, but he also has significant
expertise in turnaround situations.
Mr. Napert earned his BA in Life Sciences from Mitchell College.
His past organizational involvement includes being President of
the Southeastern Connecticut Builders Association.
