J. David Washburn, Arter &
Hadden
David is a Partner in the national law firm of Arter & Hadden
and focuses his practice on mergers and acquisitions, public and
private securities offerings and other financing transactions. David
acts as the "Outside General Counsel" for a number of
the firm's significant clients. He is a frequent lecturer on topics
related to mergers and acquisitions and corporate and securities
law. David is frequently called upon for comment on legal and financial
matters by local and national media including, among others, National
Public Radio, Entrepreneur Magazine, Texas Lawyer, Best's Review,
The Christian Science Monitor, The Dallas Business Journal and The
Dallas Morning News. David earned his law degree, with highest honors,
from the University of Tulsa School of Law.
In 2002, David was recognized by attorneys practicing in Dallas
as one of the "Best Lawyers Under 40."
