Eduardo Krumholz is a Partner of TechQuest Capital Partners.
He has been a leader in both the theoretical and applied fields
of the technology arena for the last 12 years. Mr. Krumholz began
his career as a Professor for Telecommunications and Computer
Programming at the Universidad Anahuac in Mexico City.
Subsequently, Mr. Krumholz served as Chief of Operations and Technical
Support for Ericsson in Latin America where he initiated and supported
the applications and technical architecture for a $5 billion division.
As Director of Information Technology for Stewart Stevenson, a Fortune
1000 manufacturing company, Mr. Krumholz managed the company's networking
and telecommunications projects, including the development and deployment
of ERP software and web design.
Most recently, Mr. Krumholz served as a
Senior Manager for Andersen Consulting, assisting public and private
clients in the telecommunications industry to create and implement technical
capabilities including e-commerce applications, IP/data service offerings
and system architectures. Additionally, Mr. Krumholz led the creation of
a new business sector for Andersen's Houston division that supported the
recent convergence of the utilities and telecommunications industries. He
also worked closely with Anderson Ventures, a recently formed Anderson
subsidiary that focuses on venture capital investment in the internet
technology arena.
Mr. Krumholz serves as a technology advisor to the board
of Freethinc, a Dallas based technology incubation company. Additionally,
Mr. Krumholz recently co-authored The Definitive European Internet Start-up Guide,
advising techniques for finding unique business concepts as well as developing
marketing, technical, financial and legal capabilities. Mr. Krumholz has a B.S.
degree in Electrical Engineering from the Technion in Haifa, Israel. He also was
awarded the Raoul Wallenberg scholarship from Ericsson to fund his Masters and
PhD work in Computer Science at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
