Steve Currall
Dr. Steve Currall is the William N. and Stephanie Sick Professor
of Entrepreneurship and Associate Professor of Management in the
Jesse H. Jones Graduate School of Management at Rice University.
He is also Associate Professor of Psychology (School of Social
Sciences) and Associate Professor of Statistics (School of Engineering).
He is Founding Director of the Rice Alliance for Technology and
Entrepreneurship. He has research, teaching, and consulting experience
in the areas of corporate governance, emerging technology companies,
and negotiation. He serves on the editorial review board of the
Journal of Organizational Behavior. Currall also serves on the
Executive Advisory Council of Interferometrics, Inc. a venture-funded
medical device startup as well as on the Advisory Boards of the
Houston Technology Center, MIT Enterprise Forum (Houston), Texas
eComm, and Leadership in Medicine, Inc. He has been quoted in
the New York Times, Wall Street Journal, Los Angeles Times, Time
magazine, Business Week magazine, Inc. magazine, Boston Herald,
Washington Post, CIO Magazine, and RedHerring.com. Currall earned
a Ph.D. from Cornell University, a M.Sc. from the London School
of Economics (where he was a Rotary Scholar), and a B.A. cum laude
from Baylor University.
