Michael Goodwin

Michael is a principal of WinRock HR, Inc., a human resources consulting and outsourcing firm. Previously, Mike spent several years at Continental Airlines, Inc., responsible for the financial facets of Maintenance and Purchasing and Material Services divisions. During his tenure, Michael represented the airline in e-commerce aviation consortium initiatives, such as www.cordiem.com, co-leading the development of the business plan and serving as a functional lead on strategic technology decisions. Michael also served as a strategic operations consultant on maintenance, repair, and overhaul supply chain initiatives. Prior to joining Continental, Michael consulted with telecom and telecom equipment providers on international customer acquisition and e-commerce strategies. Earlier in his career, Michael was as a senior consultant at Accenture for clients in the financial services, energy, and healthcare industries.

He is a founder of Technology Entrepreneurs' Exchange, www.texchange.org, a nonprofit entrepreneurial community in Texas with chapters in Austin, Dallas-Forth Worth, and Houston. Currently he serves as President of the statewide organization. Michael holds Honors degrees in Economics and in History from the University of Texas at Austin and an MBA from the University of Michigan Business School.
