Charles L. Nunu
Charles L. Nunu is an entrepreneurial executive, principal, manager
and consultant for domestic and international start up companies.
Mr. Nunu began his career in purchasing, process management, and
commodity trading with Continental Grain Co. His career advanced
rapidly with numerous assignments in Europe and South America.
These assignments included responsibility for business group start-ups,
product line launches, trade financing, acquisitions, divestitures,
and business group restructuring for the second largest company
in the agricultural commodities industry. After leaving Continental
Grain, Mr. Nunu participated in the formation of several private
commodity-trading companies in Europe. Currently, Mr. Nunu is
Principle and Managing Director of Second Mouse Ventures, a consulting
company specializing in the bringing to market new environmental
technologies as well as special projects with Gulf Capital Partners
a well-established Houston investment-banking firm.
Currently Mr. Nunu is also serving as a mentor at the Houston
Technology Center and The Rice Alliance for Technology and Entrepreneurship.
He is Co-founder and Director of the Texas Entrepreneurs Exchange.
Mr. Nunu has a B.S. in Psychology/Biology and a Master's Degree
in International Management from the American Graduate School
of International Management (Thunderbird). He is fluent in Portuguese,
Spanish, Italian, and French. Mr. Nunu served as a Peace Corps
Volunteer in Brazil and as a volunteer for Amigos de las Americas
in Honduras and Nicaragua. Mr. Nunu was previously accredited
by the United Nations Committee of Trade and Development in Geneva.
